Watch your ‘word’

Written on December 20, 2006 – 11:58 pm | by rayland |

If you are a fond user of Microsoft Word, then you had better be careful..Three unpatched bugs in Word have been uncovered in the last few weeks and two are already being exploited by attackers. The bugs allows attackers to create booby-trapped documents that steal information or take over a PC when they are opened.

No patch is yet available to fix these bugs.

Hey, are those bugs the rational cause to what happened to Massomeh’s computer when it was suddenly seized by a mysterious “entity” that typed insensible words into the document?

hmmm… well we cant really determine that without actually inspecting the computer first.. the keyboard may have been defected… if not, other malicious programs may be the cause..

my advice, just make sure you have a secure antivirus/antispyware software running and up-to-date on your computer…

also make sure to keep your copy of windows updated using the windows update feature.. if for some reason this is not possible, then other solutions are also available… ::wink:: ::wink:: ::wink::
