i was going about my daily web routine when suddenly a rather empty looking page caught my attention. it was demonoid! when you open the site you are greeted with text stating :
The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.
The CRIA tried to shut down demonoid not so long ago but instead ended up just restricting access to Canadian residents. But now it seems that demonoid will be gone for a while. I'm pretty sure their ISP doesn't want any trouble.
