Posted on the January 22nd, 2010 under techie, the web by rayland

Transferring a domain from one registrar to another requires an EPP code. If you’ve ever tried to get the EPP code from Godaddy,  you end up either Googling the solution or scratching your head in confusion.

Fear not! I will give you step by step instructions on how to get the EPP code from Godaddy.

first login to your godaddy account

1

choose the domain you want to get the EPP code from and click ‘advanced details’

2

look for ‘authorization code’ and click on the link that says ’send by email’

3

a confirmation window will popup and then click OK. the EPP code will be sent to the email on file with the registrar

4

That’s it! Just check your email and you should now have the EPP code for your domain. :D

If you like this post, you can buy me a cup of coffee or two. Thank you!
