If you've got money to spare, an air conditioner would work wonders for a room! It takes hot air from a room, refrigerates it, and releases cold air back into the room. This, however, can be very costly as it consumes a lot of electricity.

If you're on a budget, an electric fan will do. Placement of electric fans are important so that air circulation is even within a room. Make sure to open all windows so that air could freely go in and out of your home. Most importantly, drink plenty of liquids. Maybe even take a couple of showers.

That was nothing! It couldn't stop the ceremony... "The show must go on!" Congratulations to all the graduates! The corporate world awaits you..

The theme of choice is... CryBook by ThemeTation. A few tweaks here and there and it's all set. It is a very light theme since it doesn't have any images. Saves bandwidth and reduces loading time!

There are a few glitches though, enabling the "Automatically close comments on articles older than XX days" in discussion options breaks the theme. The sidebar goes under the content rather than at the side where it should be.

CryBook also breaks the styling of the SyntaxHighlighter Plugin as demonstrated by one of my posts here. Using my old theme doesn't do this.

I'm sure there is a fix to this... I just hope I have time to check it out...

Not bad, considering the fact that i haven't been able to update much these past few months! I'm get very busy at times.

So i guess It'll be a drop from PR4 to PR3 then? not too shabby eh?

Well, I left my job in Iloilo and moved back to my hometown in Laguna! Packing all my stuff was a major pain. I used up about 7 balikbayan boxes and had to ship them by boat. Luckily all of my belongings arrived intact thanks to 2go.

Nothing really much happened after that. Unpacked my stuff, applied for internet connection, etc. etc. 

Anyways, since i've been gone for quite a while, i thought why not give some link love in this post..  tsk tsk tsk!

Well, it wasn't an easy task but I got it done! I used WordPress' export function to export the entries, pages and comments. Then I just imported it into the new installation, which at that time was installed in a subfolder. Hehe! After I finished installing everything, I moved the installation to the top level of my domain.

I also kind of got bored with my old template so I decided to use a different one. This time the template of choice is Blog Oh Blog V2.0. Just a few more tweaks to the template and everything will be all good!

with just a few hours left till the kickoff of Superbowl XLII and i am wondering, will you be watching it for the game or the advertisements? yes the game itself is something to look forward to.. Superbowl XLII is going to be played between the Giants and the Patriots.. but then, the advertisements play an important part too, considering the whopping $3million dollars for each 30 second slot. its no wonder some of the greatest commercials are seen during the superbowl..

but for advertisers, the Superbowl is also an opportunity not to be passed. millions of viewers are going to watch it on TV and 30 seconds may be the "make it or break it" moment.

so what is it for you? the game or the adverts? i'd go for both.. enjoy the game and have a laugh in between! btw, i'm rooting for the Patriots.. hehe!
