New Theme and 2.7
If you’ve been here before, you may have noticed a new theme gracing my blog.
I upgraded to wordpress 2.7 a while back, and i wanted to use a theme that would make use of new features.
The theme of choice is… CryBook by ThemeTation. A few tweaks here and there and it’s all set. It is a very light theme since it doesn’t have any images. Saves bandwidth and reduces loading time!
There are a few glitches though, enabling the “Automatically close comments on articles older than XX days” in discussion options breaks the theme. The sidebar goes under the content rather than at the side where it should be.
CryBook also breaks the styling of the SyntaxHighlighter Plugin as demonstrated by one of my posts here. Using my old theme doesn’t do this.
I’m sure there is a fix to this… I just hope I have time to check it out…
