ok, so i took a few snapshots of my weekend project. to be honest, i’m not quite through installing all the programs i need.. i’ve been going back and forth.. eating, taking naps, and installing (mostly taking naps though).. anyways, enjoy the pics! just click on them to enlarge..
it’s the weekend again and while i have some spare time, i might as well go on with my “planned from so long ago (i cant even remember when)” computer reformatting. its been a while since my last reformat. i reformat my computer every few months to clean up any residual and unnecessary files from my drives and especially from my registry.
but first i have to backup all my files (150+ GB of them) onto my spare hard drives. good thing i have two spare 160GB drives. and yes i will use both to back up my files so that i will have two copies (one can never be too sure). anyways, i doubt they would fail at the same time..
actually reformatting the hard drive and installing the OS doesn’t really take that long. it will probably only take about an hour, maybe even less. what really takes up time is installing all the other software. from security software, to the editing software, to the multimedia software. well that’s all for now. i better start on my project. i might take pictures and i’ll post them later for all of you..
